In the second year of the emperor yuanxianzong ( a . d . 1252 ) , the expeditionary troops of yuan dynasty invaded the kingdom of dali from three directions : wulianghetai from the west , hubilie from the middle and yezhilie from the east to attack the areas of yunnan 元宪宗二年(公元1252年)元军远征大理，忽必烈大军分兵三路前进：兀良合台率西路军，忽必烈率中路军，也只烈率东路军，进攻云南地区。
