The authors summarized the progress in the research of the reefs in china over the last 20 years , and proposed that using integrative methods can forecast successfully the development and distributions , of the perdu reefs , so as to search out the reef - type oil and gas reservoirs and metal deposits 笔者系统总结了20多年来中国生物礁的研究进展和成果，并指出利用多学科综合方法能较成功地预测隐伏生物礁的发育和分布，寻找礁型油气藏和礁型矿床。
