但这些通信系统基本上属于广域的无线通信技术，而无线通信的应用并不局限于广域的移动通信，在办公室，家庭短距离内，各种信息设备间也要求能以无线方式互联，替代现有的有线连接方式，这就是本课题提出的来由；现有的大量的已开发(成熟)的控制软件和通信软件是基于成熟的rs - 232 ， tcp ip ， irda等通信技术的，如果不加以利用而重新开发基于蓝牙协议之上，将是一笔巨大的浪费；使用com技术编写的组件具有重用性强，位置透明，可以跨平台等优点，而dcom服务器的n层式结构可以独立封装并运行蓝牙逻辑过程，相对于上层屏蔽了其蓝牙底层通信细节而向上层提供蓝牙服务；蓝牙技术作为一种新兴通信技术，其协议模型和实现细节以及互操作性应用都处于研究发展初级阶段，本文通过深入剖析蓝牙核心协议，提出了基于dcom技术和sdl描述来构建一个新型的，支持多个例程的，多语言开发的，封装蓝牙协议通信细节的蓝牙协议栈dcom服务器。
