Analysis of the geomorphological features of coral reef and computation with the mathematical model show that the raised zone of coral zone could serve to reduce wave energy and that about 80 % wave energy could be lost when it passes through the zone 通过对珊瑚礁地貌特征分析，运用数学模型进行运算，得出约有80的波能由于珊瑚礁突起带的消浪作用而损耗。珊瑚礁突起带对波浪的消减作用与水深、波要素有关。
