本文用综合观测的方法，利用机载pms云粒子探测系统，根据云系的宏微观结构特征进行有针对性的垂直探测飞行，配合卫星、雷达、地面雨量、雨强计网观测资料对2003年9月17日延安降水性层状云系中那些有代表性的部位或垂直分层做细致的观测分析，获得云系的微物理结构和自然降水形成的物理过程，并用观测事实来验证人工增雨引晶催化后的物理响应判据。
