其设计思想是采用准三维设计方法，先进行二维流场计算，在叶片轴向间隙中设立计算站，应用数值计算方法计算叶片前后缘的压力、温度、速度等参数沿叶高的分布，然后根据这些参数，选取若干个回转面进行叶型设计；再将各回转面上得到的基元叶型沿某一个积叠轴积叠起来形成三维叶片，最后对得到的三维叶片进行试验，并对实验结果进行分析比较。
