本文针对机理建模的复杂性和辨识建模实验数据获得的困难性，提出了使用机理建模和辨识建模相结合的办法建立加热炉钢坯温度场数学模型思想，即，利用辨识建模的方法(使用动态bp网络建模)建立钢坯表面温度预报模型，在此基础之上使用机理建模的方法(利用有限差分法建模方法)建立温度场的预报模型。
