Abstract : we have investigated the ultrastructural changes of the biopsied muscle specimens from 8 cases of metabolic myopathies including 3 cases of glycogenosis , 2 cases of lipid storage myopathy and 3 cases of mitochondria myopathy . diagnosis and differential diagnosis with tem for metabolic myopathy as well as the significance of some ultrastructural changes were discussed in this study
