本文首先采用量纲分析、流体动力学、功能平衡理论、爆炸动力学等理论，分析了路堑硐室松动爆破装药量计算公式及其内在联系，并指出k值在现有药量计算公式中的重要性；在分析现有k缺陷的基础上，利用能量守恒原理，研究了路堑硐室松动爆破单位炸药消耗量计算方法，并提出一种新的k值计算方法，实例验证本方法合理、可靠，优于其它k值计算方法。
