Abstract : bank slope sloughing is an important environmental geological problem , which not affects only the geological environment , but also the migration settlement loan , some villages in xiaolangdi reservoir area are planed to migrated to reservoir bank zone . through the prediction and evaluation of two new settlement site stability of the bank , it is shown that the bank slope stability is one of the important factors not to be ignored in the migration settlement plan
