在近十多年，通过提高地震资料处理精度、淡水聚合物泥浆的应用、数字测井技术的运用、并加强了低电阻层和差物性层的试气及气田扩边钻探，大大提高了对气层的识别，大量增加了气层的层数和厚度，扩大了气田的含气面积，使气田储量通过多次复查核算仍在不断增加本论文充分研究了青海涩北一号气田天然气地质综合特征，并以此为基础紧密结合生产实践，应用沉积相与生储盖组合等方法确定气藏有利发育区带，应用测井资料建立测井参数解释图版并回归公式，应用计算机重新处理、解释和识别气层，综合地质、测井、试井、物探等多方面信息与成果，描述了涩北一号构造的气层分布规律，重新计算了涩北一号气田的地质储量，为研究区下一步开发提供了依据。
