Besides holding meditation sessions every morning , afternoon , and evening , master also taught us how to cultivate a garden and grow vegetables . i had never used a hoe in my life , and my arms often felt sore after i had worked for a short while . so i quickly found an excuse to slip away , the thought of which fills me with shame even today
当时我们过着很规律的生活，平常除了早晚及下午的打坐时间外，师父也教导我们开垦园地种菜，我以前从未拿过锄头，常常锄不到两下就臂酸手痛，然后赶快找个藉口溜掉，现在想起来真是感到惭愧。
