在人口密度空间结构变化量上，本文利用二次方函数建立都会区空间结构变化模式，并透过影响都会区空间结构的解释变数，发现所得因素是解释都会区空间结构变化的一个变数，经济产业活动在空间上的变化量和人口在空间变化量无关，该测试结果并形成未来都会区发展政策上应注意的课题。
