    论文针对当前重庆市许多旅游型小城镇形象建设杂乱无章,城镇建设面貌单调乏味,建筑缺乏设计和文化内涵,城镇旅游接待环境条件差,提出有必要站在区域的高度,对这类小城镇进行形象规划和设计,运用城市识别系统cis ( cityidentitysystem )和“城市意象”五要素的原理来分析小城镇系统结构和要素,以便能够清楚地认识研究对象,在此基础上分析旅游型小城镇的景观构成及特色体现,提出了旅游型小城镇形象在宏观、中观和微观三个层次上规划设计的重点,并从理论上分析从实践中总结出旅游型小城镇形象规划设计的一般原则、方法表达方式及手段等,最后本文运用前面的理论和方法分析了重庆市的两个典型的旅游型小城镇,并进一步得出结论,即旅游型小城镇形象建设是一个系统工程,要从规划和设计两个角度,结合旅游的优势,结合地方,结合自然,既有整体又有重点地对旅游型小城镇形象进行塑造,使得旅游与小城镇的建设和发展互相融合,协调发展,相得益彰。
