本文以太原地区粉土为研究对象，在收集、整理了22个建筑工程场地勘察报告和作者室内试验成果( 18组常规试验和压缩试验、 8组不固结不排水三轴剪切和8组直剪快剪试验)的基础上，对太原粉土作了以下方面的分析研究：首先研究了粉土工程性质指标的变异性，得出了变异系数的变化规律，给出了各工程性质指标均值和变异系数范围的建议值。
