Immersion means to be plunged deeply into something , although it will be difficult for the chinese students to pretend we are living in london or new york we can partially surround ourselves with the english language by reading books , newspapers such as 21st century etc , listening to bbc , voa , english songs etc , watching cctv4 , english films on tv and vcd , talking to classmates , foreigners if possible , english corner etc , and increasingly by the use of the internet
