本文所研究的三种田鼠的化石及现生种分布的突出特征表现为：喜冷湿的microtusoeconomus在第三层洞最多，现在该区没有分布；喜温干的caryomysinez陕西洛南张坪田鼠类化石研究在第三层洞尚未发现，现在该区有分布；喜温湿的cp叮weva在第三层洞较少，现在在邻近地区还有分布。
