On november 18 - 19 , 2003 fellow initiates from chiang mai , phrae and bangkok happily gathered in chiang mai to conduct a humanitarian relief project in the leesaw mountain region of northern thailand , including several areas inhabited by tribes - people desperately in need of aid . most of the local residents had never received material assistance before so three stops were scheduled for the operation
