Based on the cognition of pathogenesis the previous clinical and experimental findings we proposed that the pathogenesis of intervertebral disc disease is " gu cuo feng and jin chu cao " and introduced the coherent principle of diagnosis and treatment in the article 通过阐述有关的病机理论，结合临床和实验研究成果，认为“骨错缝、筋出槽”是椎间盘病症发病的关键病机，并提出相应的诊治原则和方法。
