本文以高分子物理学、含缺陷流变性物体的材料破坏理论为基础，以实验为手段，以工程中常用的pmma为研究对象，对pmma银纹破坏的非线性力学行为进行了研究。作者采用显微技术，对pmma在蠕变或松弛条件下，不同应力水平和不同基温下的pmma银纹损伤进行了实验研究。
