本文运用管理学、秘书学、高校管理学等学科的基本原理,理论与实际紧密结合,阐述了高校秘书队伍在高校管理中的作用,揭示并分析了目前高校秘书队伍的现状,进而对如何建设好高校秘书队伍提出了合理可行的对策。本文结合实际,将高校秘书工作分为两大类:日常程序化工作、 (包括十项具体工作)和非程序化工作;阐述了高校秘书队伍在高校管理中的五大作用:辅助决策的参谋作用、办理事务的助手作用、传递信息的耳目作用、沟通联结的枢纽作用、领导机关的示范作用。本文结合多年来从事高校秘书工作的实践,将现状概括为三大矛盾:一多一少的矛盾,即学历层次较高与专业知识教育培训的比例偏低的矛盾;一强一弱的矛盾,即个人的上进心较强与队伍合力较弱的矛盾;一多一少的矛盾,即付出较多与回报较少的矛盾。
