本论文的主要贡献有： ( 1 )从理论与阐明，尽管建筑产品的生产过程有别于一般工业产品，但作为商品的基本属性没有改变，因此， “工程造价”与“建筑产品价格”是两个不同的经济范畴， “工程造价”的传统概念是投资者按国家规定的工程定额和计划单价测定的工程项目的建设成本费用，而不是建设产品的商品价格； ( 2 )论文借鉴市场经济国家工程造价的计价制度，提出了我国工程造价计价制度市场化的模式； ( 3 )为使我国的建设市场与国际建设市场接轨，急需培育工程咨询机构和建筑产品价格信息的统计、分析、预报系统。
