主要培养艺术领域各方面的专门人才，同时还培养电影电视方面的专门人才。现设表演导演舞台美术设计戏剧文学电视艺术系，本科十五个专业和研究生四个专业。本科学制四年，研究生学制三年，进修生学制两年。
