第二章通过对不同类型企业(包括大量生产、多品种中小批量生产、单件小批生产)的主生产计划编制方式和功能的需求分析，提出了能够适应多种生产类型企业需求的主生产计划管理子系统的总体功能框架，重点研究了分别适应不同生产类型企业需求的固定周期计划、滚动计划、零部件预投计划、投产计划等四种主生产计划编制方式，并实现了数据库的设计。
