文章采用实证研究的方法，运用经济学理论，结合哈尼族聚居区的实际，透过江城哈尼族彝族自治县、墨江哈尼族自治县和红河哈尼族彝族自治州的元阳县的现状，分析和归纳了哈尼族聚居区的贫困类型和贫困致因，提出了解决哈尼族地区贫困问题的若干对策和建议。
