本文在对大陆法系和英美法系主要国家的法律教育和法律职业共同体养成制度进行比较研究的基础上，针对我国法律教育基础薄弱、法律职业成员内部在知识背景、思维习惯及准入制度等方面参差不齐的现状，从在目前中国社会培养法律职业共同体这一根本目标出发，提出在我国养成法律职业共同体必需在教育观念上树立培养共同体的意识，培养共同体成员的职业崇高敢感和历史使命感；在培养模式上规范法律教育的类型、提升法律教育的层次、科学设计人才培养方案；在教学内容上，必须致力于培养学生优化的综合素质，包括理论素质、法治素质、人文素质、职业道德素质等方面；在教学方法上，提倡在传统的讲授法的基础上丰富和嫁接案例教学法；在法律职业的准入制度上，应继续推行统一的司法考试制度，并对这一制度提出了大胆的重构设想，以期对构建法律职业共同体的养成制度具有一些借鉴意义。
