I visited the palace museum , the great wall , alleyways and tried many local snacks . i was also gratified by the heritage conservation in the mainland during this visit , as i found that both the quality and scale of the work were much improved when compared with the past . i sincerely hope that our descendants can still have the chance to admire the cultural heritage and appreciate the efforts of our precedents in the future
在北京，饱览了故宫，当了好汉，游过老胡同，品尝了老北京小吃，但最令我欣慰的是中国的文物保护工作比以前进步多了，质素和规模犹胜以往，但愿我们的后代都可以欣赏到这些见证沧海桑田的痕迹和标志，感受到前人伟大的文化遗产。
