Abstract : to analyze the temperature of the ladle completely and control it reasonably , the temperature drop behaviors of the molten steel in the ladle under various conditions were studied through establishing a proper mathematical model . the results provide a theoretical basis for reducing the temperature drop and decreasing the tapping temperature of the molten steel in the converter ， and for formulating proper temperature system of the liquid steel
