本文立足于现代社会养老保险制度与生产力之间的互动关系这一视角，把对我国企业年金作用与发展空间的考察置于包括人口结构、劳动生产率、金融环境等诸多因素的经济大背景下，在精算模型中运用模拟（ simulation ）和情景分析方法，对企业年金对我国退休职工养老保险收入替代率的影响进行了定量分析和预测，指出了企业年金在提高退休职工收入替代率方面的放大作用，以及比基本养老保险在提高退休职工收入方面的更高效率；并对我国企业年金2002年- 2010年的预计发展规模做了预测，阐述了企业年金对我国发展资本市场和提高劳动生产率的意义，着重指出了企业年金较之基本养老保险基金充当资本市场机构投资者的更大可能性。
